Hi, I'm Yazan Mohamed
ABOUT YAZAN MOHAMED
Two million payments move through my systems every month. In seven countries, the robots greeting people in hospitals and hotel lobbies are ones I put there.
I'm Yazan Mohamed, a software engineer based in Dubai, UAE, working at Altkamul Altiqani Computers on Flutter, kiosk and robotics systems. Since 2021, at YES Soft, Unify Solutions and Altkamul, I've built systems that have to work in public, unattended, every day: 6,500 payment terminals across 2,300 merchants, government self-service kiosks, and AI service robots at more than 100 events. I studied Software Engineering at the Arab University for Science and Technology in Hama, Syria, graduating in 2023.

PROJECTS & CASE STUDIES
A selection of the platforms and systems I’ve built across mobile engineering, AI robotics, fintech infrastructure, and large-scale enterprise applications.
Blumen Flowers & Gift
Mobile commerce application developed for Blumen Luxury Flower Store, a premium floral brand. The application enables customers to browse curated flower collections, place orders, and manage deliveries through a modern mobile experience designed for luxury retail.
C4D
C4D is a delivery ecosystem platform designed for restaurants and retail businesses. It provides a commission-free delivery model and includes multiple applications for different user roles.
HighwayKing Fleet & Workforce Platform
Internal workforce and fleet management platform developed for a Canadian logistics company. The system included mobile applications for drivers and employees, enabling automated attendance tracking, HR management, and operational monitoring. A native geofencing solution was implemented to automatically log drivers in and out based on their location, eliminating manual check-in processes and improving operational accuracy.
Catalogak POS & Digital Menu Ecosystem
Enterprise POS and digital menu platform designed for retail and restaurant businesses. The system integrates point-of-sale operations, online menus, and hardware peripherals including barcode scanners, thermal printers, smart scales, and fingerprint sensors. I led the team of three Flutter developers that rebuilt it from the original native Android (Java) app, scaling the platform to 2,300+ merchants and 6,500+ POS terminals while improving stability to 99.9% crash-free sessions.
Malaa Financial Kiosk System
Government kiosk platform developed for the Central Bank of Oman. The system allows users to request credit reports through self-service kiosks, with integrated ECR payment terminals and remote call center support using Cisco Webex.
MetroWatch IoT Monitoring Platform
Industrial IoT monitoring platform designed for tracking infrastructure assets and sensor networks. The system allows operators to monitor real-time telemetry from IoT devices across environments such as metro systems, pipelines, shipment containers, and smart infrastructure. My work focused on improving application stability and resolving performance issues in high-sensitivity monitoring environments.
TechNex Captain Field Operations Platform
Mobile field operations platform used by operators managing IoT-connected infrastructure and assets. The application enables field teams to track operational tasks, interact with connected devices, and update asset status in real time.
Altkamul AI Robotics Experience Platform
The Altkamul Robotics Experience Platform is a collection of AI-powered robotics deployments developed for real-world environments across seven countries in the MENA region — Qatar, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Egypt, Morocco and Syria. I was responsible for managing robotic systems and designing custom software platforms tailored for each deployment scenario. These robots were used in a wide range of environments including healthcare institutions, government events, exhibitions, restaurants, and hospitality venues. The systems enabled autonomous guest interaction, audience registration, event announcements, and AI-powered entertainment experiences. Each deployment required designing specialized interaction workflows and integrations depending on the use case and environment.
AI Sketch Bot Platform
AI-powered robotic sketching platform capable of drawing human faces in real time. The system uses computer vision to detect facial features and generates sketch instructions that control a robotic arm capable of drawing portraits automatically.
Sipua Bottom Navigation Bar
Custom Flutter bottom navigation bar designed for modern mobile interfaces.
Edge Detection Plugin
Flutter plugin enabling real-time document edge detection using the device camera.
All Printer Flutter Plugin
Flutter plugin for thermal printer and POS receipt printing integration.
